Union Church Hong Kong | The Design

At the heart of the re-design of the Union Church Hong Kong is the Sanctuary. It will house 500 seats for the multi-denominational community - one of the oldest in Hong Kong. KplusK associates created a light-filled environment, where 'light will triumph over mass' (Johnny Kember); reminiscent of the previous iterations of the Church.

Working from the façade design through to the interior design under Paul Kember, these principles are embedded in each detail - and now finally become visible on site as the steel structures are put in place.
