OVOLO 100 Shek Pai Wan Road is a modern interpretation of coastal living featuring subtle maritime accents and textures that link the hotel’s interior with its surroundings in a bold colourful new way. From the moment guests first enter the peaceful atmosphere of the lobby, they will be treated to a thoughtfully crafted design that captures the essence of Aberdeen’s historic seafront community. Elements from the traditional fishing culture are apparent throughout the hotel; driftwood tables, ropes, fenders, and Chinese lanterns decorate the Lounge, whilst sheer net curtains, water-toned wallpaper by Knoll, and fish scale cushions bring a flavour of the local character into the guestrooms. The elegant façade of the hotel is crowned by a beacon of light at the top of the building, evoking imagery of a lighthouse.
